My Top 5 Sources Of News

1. Apple News

How You Can Get the Apple News App on iOS 9 Outside the US | Technology News

If I must admit, I do not look at news too much. But when I do, I use Apple News. When something important happens around the world, you can normally find news about it anywhere, however, not everything is reliable. Apple News is reliable because it is not biased towards any political side, it just gives the straight up facts. Right as big news comes out, I normally get a notification on my phone from Apple News, ad if I am interested enough, I can open the app and read a wholw article about the news.

2.  Youtube News

YouTube Live gets ultra-low latency option, direct streaming on iOS, and new moderation tools | VentureBeat

I am often on Youtube, and it has a "breaking news' category that you can hit to find out the news. I like using this because it is very easy to click, and also it is always there. Even if nothing new is really happening, the old news will stay there so you can constantly look at it if you missed anything the day before. Since it is youtube, there obviously aren't any articles, so the news comes in video form. I find this very entertaining and easy to pay attention to. Also, I feel as though videos help me understand the news more than articles.

3. New York Times

The New York Times - Breaking News, US News, World News and Videos

I get a decent amount of my news from The New York Times. The New York Times is known to be the worlds greatest newspaper. You can also even get it online and read it as an article too. The New York Times even covered both world wars and it has continued to get an even better reputation as the years went on. Also, the New York Times is known to get information and news out to the public as soon as possible. If I ever hear news about something important, and im not sure if it is true since I havn't heard much about it. I will always go to the New York Times because they will most likely already have an article out about it.

4.  Twitter

I have had Twitter since I was little, and I feel as though just recently, Twitter has become a platform where teens get their news about not-so-important things like celebrities, but also more important news like politics. Even if I am on Instagram, someone will post a screenshot of some news from Twitter. Also, our president tweeted a lot and many people got their news from him. Overall, I wouldn't trust Twitter too much, but I do definitely get some of my news from it.

5. Snapchat

Snapchat Updates: Snapchat is finally removing its controversial redesign in latest update

Snapchat has been around for a while but within the past couple of years, it added a news section. It is called Snapchat Discover. It will have multiple articles about information and news going on in the world. It even has news articles from The Washington Post and even The New York Times. If I am ever bored and on Snapchat, I hit the news articles and read what is going on in the world. This is a great way to find out the news because I am on Snapchat a lot.
